Job Posting: Mental Health Program Specialist 02/19/10 Community Action Partnership of Sonoma County is looking for a Mental Health Program Specialist for the Health Division. The Mental Health Program Specialist will work with a team of individuals who are responsible for the oversight and implementation of the Prevention and Early Intervention (PEI) Grant, and future mental health grants for the Health Division of Community Action. The position requires an individual to work in a fast paced environment, communicate professionally, provide support to at-risk families and teens, and the ability to work independently and solve problems. The position will be responsible for assisting in the planning and conducting of community workshops and collaborating with partner organizations to enhance county-wide mental health systems. In addition, this position will involve facilitating and directing transitional-aged youth to implement an on-line social marketing campaign to outreach to at-risk teens in Sonoma County. Candidates must have a minimum of five years experience delivering mental health and/or counseling services. Candidates should have a BA degree or equivalent demonstrated experience.
